The background is too high as compared to the voice of the people
My son is always left alone by other people. It is heartbreaking as a mom
Where can I please watch the full movie? It is so disheartening that I cannot find it anywhere....
I have found my tribe.
Promo`SM
I have very fast processing speed but issues with social relationships.
Bipolars definitely get more sympathy, understanding and support than people with BPD .
Too bad. Dr. Braaten is interesting in this video, but then looking at her social media -- mostly negative, angry political content. Really dissuades me from looking into her work any further.
My mind, body and soul felt like I had meditated for an hour. I received such a cleansing.
What social relationships? Lol. 0
Yeah, you are right. then add ADD to it , no chance.
@@ellanola6284😆
Thank you. This video is really validating for what we have been experiencing at home. ❤
My 7 year old is SO smart. Has SO much potential. He's recently been diagnosed with combined ADHD. He is a VERY well behaved, good kid but is awful at following instructions and gets flustered because I can be very go go go. It's a hard learning curve for us both because as a kid I HAD to be gogogo. I dint want him to feel the same way I did. My 2 year old has SPD, APD and is non-verbal. It makes me wonder whether my eldest has APD too. I have APD too so it would make a lot of sense. It must be so difficult feeling trapped in your own mind when you are fully capable. I learnt to mask and shut down. I dont want my children to have to do the same.
It's from overload of built up toxins while mother pregnant and/or vaccines after birth. Try gaps diet it may help
How u livin life with no passion 😭?!!
The balding asshole who feels he must interject politics by disrespecting our President should definitely get this book. And he should use it to not get punched in the nose.
Now I understand why I prefer to be alone. I don’t have that Pressure to “keep up” in conversations etc. and most of the conversations are boring anyway soooo I’m better off without them! 😂
Same , but then i think i can't work ...
I am generally a fast processor of information. I respond normally in conversations but when it comes to problem solving involving numbers, such as Math, accounts and Statistics, I am very slow at processing information. My teachers say that it's because of a lack of practice and think that a disability is unlikely. I went to a psychiatrist who said that my intelligence is above average and have no learning disability either. Maybe, it is just a matter of practice. Maybe my mind takes time to process new things even if they are easy. Maybe that could be attributed to evolution. We are evolutionarily wired to be intimidated by anything new.
Wow ! I was good at maths and geography but had trouble putting my thoughts into words .
Looks like my father has it. I have it. And now my son has it. My father is a paleontologist famous enough in his small field. I have an advanced degree in science. I had perfect grades in middle school. Mixed grades since then. Some were close to perfect scores. I know if not for this, I could have done better. The advantage is although I am slow, I come up with correct answers, while others make mistakes.

I hope my parents see this It's actually hard especially when all your siblings are very fast learners it even becomes worse when you are being compared to someone younger than you with seven years and you are being shouted at even when you are doing your best.....I can't type much but African parents should see this!
Send it to them, and be proud of all the things you do no matter how small & thank God
Im sorry for saying this but the thumbnail looks like the beyond fried chicken pointing meme.
This hits hard.
I mean like what are we suppose to do in our adult life… go job to job trying to hide this order hoping this time it works out. Slow processed are a curse on this earth and we should all just be eradicated and let the normals live in perfection.
75% of these normals are a pain in the butt a good chunk of them look down on our tribe of “slower processing speed” folks
Some jobs people need to be slow
YES
🙏
What's it called when it's a simple yes or no answer but your mind goes through all the possibilities to the answer? It kinda feels like slow processing in a way but I'm just putting all the variables in place and coming up with the best outcome.
I also struggle with this, I can’t say yes/no straight up because I’m still processing so I’m perceived as having slow/difficulty in understanding
@@maryannmanalang9249 exactly, very analytical.
Wow

might you someday address the intersection between epilepsy & manic depression & how that affects one's work? i am having a great deal of trouble finding information online re: this subject ~ credible information, anyway. i do wish there were any upside to the seizures. sometimes it feels as if they're trying to break the brutal barrier. bp2 is a pair of bright red shoes made of frosted cake in comparison. as an aside, if you still want to eat r.d. laing, i would be most happy to cook whatever's left of him for you. a bit gamy, i suppose, after all this time, but dip him into an overly spiced tomato- & onion-based sauce & he should nearly be fine. ps. i read yr book!!
Thanks for this content.
Nice
Lol my iq is 148 in one catagory and 72 in another and I average 118 and it’s so frustrating that literal idiots think they are smarter than me for being faster than me. I’m just glad that it was picked up quickly cause I remember they used to keep me back because I would get 55% on test since I would never finish them whereas now I can get 97% on maths tests.
Good for you. What did you do to improve your learning habilities?
Literally same…
I wish I could've had help with this growing up. Now I have complex ptsd from having been fired four times for under performance and almost fired another couple of times before I quit. I was always 85% of quotas my entire life and having autism and inattentive adhd to boot. Im 36 and only just now learning ive had these.
I understand your struggles. 😔
👋I survived my suicidal attempt when I was 18. I am so grateful that I didn’t die even though I became paralyzed. By God’s Grace, my mental health is excellent now. If you are depressed, I hope you will not give up, it’s a treatable medical condition. If I can recover, anyone is able to potentially. Sharing my experience here ruclips.net/video/xi-on4PmKuE/видео.html
Thank you for sharing this! From the mom of a strong-willed girl 😝
Is there a name for this? Is it a disorder?
I am an avid #MentalHealthAwareness advocate and spoken word performer, and I love this so much. I travel the country trying to bring that awareness on stages, in classrooms, hospitals, and on my RUclips channel, so I get excited when I see other advocates. 💙
The distance between my piano and computer was too great. I would gain the next three notes though in the 5 footsteps to the computer they were forgotten. So the Cosmic Ballet Goes On.
at 28:00 good comment about benefit of self advocacy in kids with disabilities
at 25:00 question about gifted children and slow processing/executive function skills
Lefties gonna lefty
This slow processing has anything to do with SCT (slow cognitive tempo)?
Same question
id guess no..
The good thing is i finally know why i am lonely, and i don’t blame others because even me sometimes get frustrated with myself
what is the solution for this.
I have a processing speed higher than the 88% of my peers but a verbal skill only above the 53%, and my academic performance is terrible. Though, I'm a hiperralist sculptor without even trying.
CovidImages need to be invested more than half19
i haev sluggish cognitive tempo
